So last week I finally found some active SSF4-ing happening on campus.  First there was a mini-tournament at MASA (Some multi-asian club thing), so I went there, everyone was pretty much a scrub that played pad so I didn’t have any problem with them.  Won a $10 Gamestop gift card.  But I really only went there to get some practice since I wasn’t about to go into the qualifiers cold.  The RS Qualifiers were being held at these guys apartment and it was sooooooooooo far, I had to take the bus and walk like 20 minutes to get there -_-.  Anyways I ended up showing up like 2 hours early because the event said casuals from 2-4 so I showed up at 2, guess the people there are too badass to play casuals.  I first play Krishna, another fellow Boxer player and we were about the same level, but I did get a few wins on him.  Then I played Iljia, a mother-fucking Akuma, god damn I HATE Akuma, like this nigga sweeps me then my minds all like “WHAT THE FUCK?!”  I gotta worry about air grabs, crossups, palm, and the  mother fucking empty jump into short short bullshit!.  So He beat me more times than I beat him.  Then this other guy Martin showed up, was a decent Cammy/Ken player.  Too trigger happy with the shoryu though.  At one point he whiffed one and I hella want to style on this fool to show off to these guys so obviously I used my entire super meter to EX loop the shit out of him, and no I didn’t drop it, I never drop combos.  Anyways more people show up and we played Round Robin, was a total of 11 or so people.  My first round was like the best dhalsim I’ve ever fucking played.  It was even more of a mindfucked because we played casuals right before and he beat me like 10 times in a row.  His name is Sann and hes the nigga that knocked out Gamerbee and Valle at the SD Tournament 2 weeks ago, the fuck.  Overall the players there are pretty good, if I could play as consistently as them then maybe I would able to be on their level.  The spots were only given away to the top 5 and I got 6th place =[.  Bullshit though that FeiLong played shouldn’t have beaten me!  Shitty ass stick.  Anyways thats my fail story.  Goodluck Brian in your qualifiers!
